3rd WR =/= slot guy as much as it did years prior
you can be the "slot" guy and be a teams FIRST or SECOND read in an offensive set making the WR2 actually the WR3.
I'm saying when he was in Arizona he was the the 3rd WR. Maybe he didnt work the slot, and that was for Boldin, or Fitz and he lined up at WR2, but he was still the 3rd WR read and the 3rd WR on the depth chart, even though he didnt play the slot.
He was a 2nd WR once in his career and that was 2 years ago when he caught 61 balls for us and McCluster/Baldwin were even more useless than they were this last season.
