If it was a real shoot, he wouldn't have made it 30 seconds, and they wouldn't have cut the mic just in time for the show to end...
But I also wonder just how much truth there was in that. A lot of the things he said are items that have been rumored to be the reasons why he wanted some time off. That they weren't treating him like the star that he believes he is, that he's never really been handed the baton. And maybe that was contract negotiations, maybe it was all a work all along, who knows.
Either way, that was the kind of promo that can make a guy if they do this right.
(I expect it to end with Cena standing tall after the PPV, just like always. I doubt in the end this will be a moment we'll all point back to later as a turning point. I hope I'm wrong.)
