i think youre lucky that microsoft did anything for you. when i got my 5th red ring of death on my 5th xbox i finally called microsoft. they basically told me to **** of. we give 3 months, after that its on you. and we dont cover our games. i told them that thats because they make a pos product and they know it. never spent another dime on xbox related materials. as for the playstation. never had any problems. the generation before always worked fine when i bought the next gen console. not sure if they are for fixing them. pretty sure you can find some repairman to do it.
