huh?...the original didn't take itself that seriously, which is part of it's charm, now it sounds like micheal-bay-marines-the rock-isms

take a stand against the gods, is that what they mean? or against the Kraken-as-jihadists? Huh?

the gods used people as their play things, an explicit framing device in the original...i sure hope they don't water it down for some rocky-ized version of myth on horse steroids...
