So I also got two 30 round Magpul Pmags with the window. When I load 30 rounds, it only goes down to the '25' marker. Is this normal? I thought maybe I had miscounted, but couldn't get any more to load.

Yeah, that's normal. The little red line shows you the ammo level, not the rounds themselves.
