The difference here will be.. the extreme hypocrisy in excusing this one, when there was not an inch of latitude extended to another.
You're right. I have seen it with my own eyes, as a somewhat former SF fan. It was and still can be hilarious to read people defend one with similar lines that they once condemned others for using on another.
