The NFL and its players don't owe us a damned thing except a game or a ticket refund. They're not accountable to us. If a player smokes away his talent it shouldn't be important to anyone but him. The players, the teams and the league need the fans to believe they're important, but that's PR bullshit. They play you fans even better than they play football.
