Trade Brady now, his luck has run it's course and that was years ago. Sure he says he can play 10 more years, good let it be for, a few first round draft picks and a team in the gutter, we have the pieces in place, but Brady is no longer the man to drive this ship.

Over the next few years Brady's our best chance to win but he's beyond carrying this team anymore.

In order to win come playoff time management needs to surround him with the right complementary players on offense. Not sure they have done enough of that of late. And it shows in these typs of games against teams who can smack us around.

The defense is fine. They just need to make sure they re-sign Talib, get a true pass rusher, replace Gregory and ensure that Arrington only ever has to place in the slot.

So the game hinged, basically, on one call.

With the eyes of an NFL-crazed country focused on Bernard Pollard spearing Ridley with at least his 2nd helmet-to-helmet hit of the evening-- this time the biggest cheap shot artist in the history of the NFL struck paydirt with a dirty, filthy knockout and the resultant "fumble" which turned the tide of the game in Baltimore's favor.

So, after a lot of hours of following this team and the league and in the process being forced to sit through the fake referees, the idiot talking heads and endless hours of talking lizards, flying pigs and robot teacher's pets it all comes down to a crew of gutless refs and their faceless backups in the booth who watched that play in crystal-clear HD slo-mo and somehow didn't think the HELMET TO HELMET HIT was worth noticing. That it somehow wasn't relevant to the outcome of the play. Not only did they choose not to see it, but neither Simms or Nantz did, which was pretty remarkable to me. It was so obvious that anybody who saw it was either sickened or should have been.

So much for player safety, the rules and the entire rotten core of the NFL. They got what they wanted. A great story about backyard battles of two brothers and the noble warrior Ray Lewis riding clouds of glory straight to heaven to war dance with his good buddy God.

It's all sick and crooked and I feel like the world's dumbest asshole for wasting the hours of my life watching this phony game. This sad joke that promises honor and delivers disgrace.

Bill Belichick will probably quit in disgust and I wouldn't blame him if he did.

This team is done.

Every year since 2007 has been the same. How can a team with significantly better skill players be so ****ing awful in the playoffs while the joker 2006 Pats nearly made the Super Bowl?

Another pathetic WW drop, plus other timely drops.

Another game where the opposing team makes better halftime adjustments than BB. 13-7 at half and blown out completely in the second half. Recent SBs anyone?

Another game where TB, supposed GOAT, is now 8-7 in the playoffs after starting 9-0. Not all losses are on him, but in EVERY playoff loss since 2007 the offense has underperformed. EVERY single loss. Hell, even in the win versus BAL last year Brady was bailed out by BAL's derp after playing an awful game.

NE is supposed to rise to the occasion in January.

NE is supposed to have one of the best coach/QB combos in history.

NE is supposed to have one of the most prolific offenses in history.

And yet, here we are, yet again staring at an off-season after BB was outcoached by a inferior coach, TB was outplayed by an inferior QB, and the entire team looked disinterested after a few plays went against them.

The injuries hurt but **** the excuses.

The defense played great in the first half and gave the offense AGES to score some ****ing points and build a solid lead. Brady and co. should have gone into half with a double digit lead but pissed away so many opportunities. Then Baltimore makes adjustments, the D falls a part because the O can't stay on the field, and the Pats crumble like a bunch of pussies.

This game played out EXACTLY like 2007 and 2011 Super Bowls. BB, TB, and the rest are soft and do NOT have what it takes to overcome adversity against solid defenses.

D gave up a bunch of points eventually, but like in those SB losses it gave the O chances to make plays. Instead, Brady and co. pissed away their chances and left the D out to dry.

Once again an elite offense played like shit and expected a mediocre defense to keep them in the game - it should be the other way around and BB/TB need to be called out for this recurring nightmare.

I'm sure midgar will come prancing in here to protect Brady, but **** it. I love TB as much as anyone, but he is supposed to be the leader of this team and he just doesn't have it anymore. It isn't just him - BB has been outclassed over and over in recent playoff losses.

I'm disgusted not because we lost, but because we once again lost by playing WAY below potential. Sometimes it just isn't your day or you meet a better team, but the Pats haven't lost while playing well since the 2006 AFCCCG - especially the O.

How many times will this team score under 20 points in a playoff loss after scoring 30+ in the regular season?

New England Colts (2007-2012) - Prolific offense and regular season team that annually folds against half-decent defenses.

Know what makes me most angry and sad? These exact same criticisms and frustrations were vented here by me and others in 2007 and 2011. Nothing has changed. Nothing.
