No, this is the let's stress that the same problems have existed for 5 straight years thread.

BB needs to wake up and fix whatever is keeping this team down. The Patriots have straight-up choked in the playoffs more times in recent memory than any team I can remember.

I'm not saying TB has lost his passion or isn't a good QB, but he isn't finding ways to beat quality defenses anymore. BB needs to figure out how to help him do that and I think it might come down to letting Gronk/AHern take over Welker's load while replacing guys like Branch, Llloyd, and Wes with legit WR threats.

The D is coming along. It isn't great, but it's improved from last year. Talib is a must-sign.

But this elite offense once again underperformed by double digit points in scoring.

If I told you before the game that the Ravens would score 28+ points I'm sure you'd have believed it was possible or even likely. But what would you have said if I said the O would score 13 points? This same scenario happened in 2007 and 2011.

I'm scared this recurring nightmare won't be identified and fixed before TB and BB ride off into the sunset, a few less wins than their legacies deserve.

They're a bunch of stat padders that can beat up on scrubs like the Bills and Raiders but always fold against tough teams.They need outside receivers like you wouldn't believe. EVERYTHING is underneath, dink pass, dink pass, dunk pass.They also need to grow some balls on defense. They were so ****ing scared of the deep ball that they got picked apart, and never adjusted.

They also need some speed in the linebacker core. Atrocious.

The WR position is a major issue IMO.

I honestly think they need to let WW walk and reevaluate the way the offense is run.

Gronk and AHern can be our beasts in the middle, the RB position is set for years, but the WR position (outside) has been a ****ing joke since Moss left. Hell, even with Moss all we really had was the go route. Watching guys like Julio Jones make me want to cry.

Especially in the league now with all the rules favoring WR's, and we've still got scrubs like Deion Branch? Because of this, every drive has to be 10 plays. It was laughable watching them try and mount a comeback at 28-13, still dinking and dunking all the way.

Agreed on all parts. I think sometimes Welker can hamstring the offense because Brady always dumps it down to him instead of taking a risk and throwing it up for Ahern or Lloyd.

Which brings up LLoyd. What the f*** happened?! He was supposed to fix the problem last off-season. Finally a good threat on the outside!

Well that sucked. I was a massive LLoyd fan, and considering his successes in McD's offense, I thought it would be a shoe-in that he would be successful.

Seriously, what happened?

LLoyd barely surpassed how half-season in St Louis last year.

I hope and pray for an athletic reciever (preferably big). Make a run at Dwayne Bowe? I don't know, but something really needs to be done.
