As for the Lakers, they suck... and it isn't on the coach, nor is it on Laker fans' favorite scapegoat Pau Gasol. The blame goes to Mitch Kupchak for building an imbalanced roster of big-name players with no bench, and Kobe for being a ballhogging, team-killing petulant child. The biggest problem for the Lakers is that the league is changing. They're still relying on bigs in the post, but the league nowadays is perimeter-oriented with a focus on speed, depth, chemistry, and athleticism, which the Lakers lack in spades.
