Alright so here is where we stand. We are 4.5 back of Cleveland and 4 back of Chicago. Both of those teams are starting to or are already trending downwards. Cleveland 5-5 in the last 10 and Chicago 3-7. Whereas we are 7-3 in the last 10. The team I feel we really need to catch and stay ahead of is Detroit whom we are 1.5 games back of. I just don't see either Cleveland or Chicago staying atop the division.
Also of note is we are do to get a big shot in the arm with Sal coming back for either this series with the Cards or the next with Tampa Bay, plus Paulino coming back into the rotation soon, and if we are really lucky a huge shot in the arm if we can see Myers come up. We can actually make a run at this division which is really exciting.
