Education is another example of the same phenomena. Prices kept climbing the more and more financial aid was offered. Now no one works their way through anymore. That was better, plus you get out will little to no debt. When those who really want it work for it they value it more so it attracts more of the right people.

Those professor's pay would be based on what the market would bear and not be what they are today too. No one would pay those guys what they get for just a few courses a week. Now you know why these dudes hate the free-market, love big govt or socialism.

There was a whole study done on this even in the 1980's. Now the colleges push financial aid because it's a gravy train for them.
