He's not a pass rusher. He's a TWO-DOWN player. His job is to absorb blockers.
If he doesn't absorb blockers and allows them to block downfield, he sucks ass.
If he absorbs blockers, the linebackers and safeties make the tackles.
Either way, no one will ever notice his presence unless he ****s up.
