By the way, this whole "Missouri's getting hurt by not getting TA&M as a cross-rival" thing is overblown. I don't see how playing in Texas once every 2 years would have done anything for Texas recruiting that playing there once every 12 years wont. Mizzou did well in Texas because they were generally seen as the top 2nd-tier school behind OU and UT, so a lot of kids who were snubbed by Texoma went there to prove 'em wrong. That sort of thing is less likely in the SEC, where there is no shortage of good football schools all over the south, vs going all the way up to Columbia.
The damage to their Texas recruiting, if there is any, will have begun the moment they left for the SEC, and we won't really see it materialize for several years.
