So maybe they are both out with Mom home sitting. Neirher shows up on time as planned. When Belcher returns home he has confrontation with Mother and GF who he blames for not being home on time? Perhaps?
Nevermind that he did not come home at all.
And if he knew were she lives and her roomates had some comfort level with him then this likely was not the first time.
