I thought the first third of the film felt off at times because they tried to cram too much humor in weird places. And I knew Leia pulling a Star Lord would go over horribly. That was a weird scene. Probably should have just killed her off there.

That said, I thought the Kylo/Rey plot was really great. It's what held the movie together. And the final battle with Luke was awesome. There were a lot of great epic moments and it was an entertaining film. It's funny though, I don't think you can make a Star Wars film everyone will be happy with. You have to hit upon the nostalgia without overdoing it. Really tough to do. I do agree the final scene of the movie felt like something that could have ended the next film.

Who knew making a film which is pretty much a giant middle finger to hardcore fan's would piss off Fanboys.

I'ts been almost 24 hours and I'm still angry about this movie.
