I drove all around Springfield this morning. Cooper Supply across from OTC lost its roof. The giant Krispy Kreme sign on the corner of Glenstone and Chestnut is down. I saw several destroyed billboards and trash bins (the big industrial ones) upside-down and several yards from where they used to be. Apparently, all this destruction in Springfield was caused by 100 mph winds - no tornadoes actually touched down.
