Considering Missouri was 8 baskets away from being 31-3 rather than 23-11... it's tough to take.

I thought MIssouri had a legitimate shot to win the SEC WITH Mike Dixon. Once he was dismissed, those expectations changed quite a bit.

Dixon was a key crunch time player for Missouri and its best isolation player (which is why he often had the ball in those slowdown spots last year instead of Pressey). It was pretty obvious they missed his overall offensive ability and his guts/willingness to make the winning shot/play.

No doubt in my mind they win at least 4 of the close road games with Dixon. (at aTm, at UCLA, at Arkansas and at Tennessee would work). Much different season just from that.

It was an elite team with Mike Dixon. Without him, about what we see here.
