I can't fault Matheny for his decision here.
He's now pitched three times since May 28. Also, Maness and Butler got crushed last night. Mujica pitched last night, Scroate pitched the 8th, and Kelly was still unavailable due to the spot start. So, unless you wanted to roll Siegrist out there after he got five outs yesterday, who are you going with?
