Danny Espinosa. Apparently the Nationals want to move him. He's arb-eligible this year. In 310 innings at short last year he had a +22 UZR. Now that's not likely to hold up, but he should be a competent shortstop defensively, and he's got excellent pop for a MIF. I don't think it would take much to get it done.

How can anyone be worse than Kozma and Delcasco defensively?
The only concern that I have with any upgrade at SS is the price. Cost controlled pitching is how we can compete with the $2 BILLION TV contracts of the Dodgers/Angels/Yankees etc. That young pitching is what everyone wants. And who thinks we have enough pitching after this year?
If we go for an upgrade at SS, lets go big and solve that position for years.
