Oh, come on.
You can't say that the Chiefs would have "reached" for Brees while at the same time wished they had taken Rodgers.
The fact of the matter is that they failed on both but Brees was the more obvious choice.
He would have excelled with Vermeil, Saunders and Holmes and it wouldn't have cost the Chiefs a dime.
