You guys can make fun of me all you want for this but these guys are like family to me and my family. 30 years after "Elvira" they still rock. (I never really liked Elvira btw) They still tour 150 shows a year and this was a minor country hit just last year... so they still find a way to be relevant. They amaze me.
I've spent a decent amount of time talking to Duane Allen (lead singer in this song) and William Lee Golden (long beard) and I consider them "friends" and they know me when they see me.
I could go on and on forever.... but I'll stop.
