I just spent a couple minutes looking at airfares, and I don't think you're saving much flying into DC instead of NY. You'll probably come out about even with a lot of less stress.

Hadn't even considered that. It isn't that I'm trying to save money by going to D.C. She lives in DC, so I imagine we'll spend the bulk of my trip there. Was just hoping to visit NYC while I'm out there.
Is Dulles a hassle?
