Sensationalism. Zohydro has the exact same active ingredient, hydrocodone, as Vicodin. And, Zohydro comes in a 10mg dose. Vicodin comes in a 5 and 7.5mg dose (generics). Yes, Zohydro does come in a 50mg capsule, but to simply say it is 10 times more powerful than Vicodin is misleading. If you take the highest available dose of Zohydro, which docs simply aren't going to prescribe, and you take the lowest available dose of Vicodin, then yes, it's 10 times as powerful.
In realistic dosages, it's about 30% more potent than vicodin
