You're being a bit contrarian and a little fast and loose with the notion that it was all Even Stephen on the # of drops to tough catches on badly thrown balls as if it's a zero sum everybody tied situation.

I like and agree with you almost in spade but on this its a bit myopic in view from realistic justification as if they're counterweighted on an equal scale.
