Would a team have fallen in love with Leinart after only two seasons of starting? Hard to say. But if he fell behind Vince Young a year later, I'm guessing he would have dropped pretty far in 2005 had he come out. Plus, he's a lefty, which opens up its own can of worms. Tough call.
Also, Leinart didn't love football. He loved the ladies. Big difference between him and Barkley.
