You know, it's interesting ... in order for Pioli to remain in situ, he's going to have to convince Clark that he can turn this thing around and do it quickly. I mean, you certainly can't justify retaining him based upon his track record to date. So, he's going to have to sell Clark on some sort of super plan ... whatever that may be.
The interesting part is that there is no reason whatsoever to believe that Pioli has what it takes to do the job he was hired to perform. You certainly don't keep him around on that basis. His tenure as GM is the definition of failure. So, if Clark retains Pioli, it has to mean that the guy can sell the warts off a pickle when he wants to.
