Holgorson's offense uses some elements of Leach's timing spread. It's far from the same, though. People don't get this, though, and just say, "Golly, Geno's such a ****ing spreadtard I don't want any part of him."

In any case, at least there are plays that allow Geno Smith to show off his arm strength and downfield capabilities. That's far more (and better) information that we have to go off of than we got from Ryan Tannehill last year. If you'll remember, Tannehill was criticized because he never threw downfield... only screens. Some of those were play designs, but a lot of them were dumpoffs because Tannehill couldn't find the open guy down the field.
Nearly every offense incorporates concepts for the AirRaid such as mesh, shallow cross, smash, etc.

Holgerson places different primaries on his progressions, which is why you might see different results IMO.
