McGinest is a very good player, but he's really perfectly designed for a 3-4 and not so well for the 4-3. Since KC isn't going to run a 3-4, it makes sense that they weren't interested.
He should help the Browns. He has tremendous, tremendous work ethic, leadership skills, and can bring it on the field. Guys like McGinest and Joe Andruzzi, who the Browns signed away from the Pats last year, are exactly the kind of players Crennell needs to get his program off the ground. Help teach younger players how it's done and how you create a winning system.
