I agree, Jeff. I don't think this is a NHL/NBA thing, I just don't think KC could/would support another franchise.
I know how hard it is here in STL. We're the Chiefs of the NHL. Always "Wait 'til next year." St. Louis has always been a great hockey town. Even the down years, the building would be at 75% capacity, even on weeknights. Now, it's a ghost town down there. I went to a game earlier this year and they didn't even announce the attendance. On a Saturday night. Against the Blackhawks, a division rival.
Hockey has been a tradition in STL for 40 years, and support is hard to come by. Mainly, because of ticket prices, IMO.
