If you look at the Chiefs' starting lineup in Tony G's rookie year, here is the year that each starter left the league:

2008 - Donnie Edwards
2007 -
2006 - Will Shields
2005 - John Browning, Dale Carter, Reggie Tongue, Jerome Woods
2004 -
2003 - Dave Szott
2002 - Vaughn Booker, Tamarick Vanover
2001 - Elvis Grbac, Glenn Parker, James Hasty
2000 - Kimble Anders, Andre Rison, Tim Grunhard, Anthony Davis, Pete Stoyanovich, Louis Aguiar
1999 - Greg Hill, Joe Phillips, Derrick Thomas
1998 - Ted Popson, Jeff Criswell, Terry Wooden
1997 - Lake Dawson

I just thought it was interesting that his median teammate that year has been retired for 12 seasons, and only one teammate has been on the field in the past 6 seasons.

As other trivia, the oldest guy on that roster who was drafted as a Chief was Kevin Ross, back after doing tours in Atlanta and San Diego. When Ross was a rookie, Todd Blackledge was our starting quarterback.

The oldest overall guy on the roster was Marcus Allen. In Allen's rookie season, he had one teammate who played before the AFL-NFL merger (Ted Hendricks).

I'm basing it on this site: http://www.pro-football-reference.co...997_roster.htm
