I'd rather envision her continuing to grow on her own, partnering up with Asajj Ventriss, and having them still exist as a duo somewhere in the gray between Jedi and Sith in the time of episode 7.
It also wouldn't surprise me if she's Fulcrum, which people have speculated since even before her appearance on this show was made public.
