I bet this is what would would happen. In fact, it wouldn't shock me if the Big 12 and SEC knows each other's expansion plans. The Champions Bowl was a shot across the bow at the Big Ten-Pac alliance.
I think the ACC really pissed off Mike Slive by backing out of the top 1-4 seeded playoff and instead going with Jim Delaney's all conference champs model.
