I don't know how to fix it, but it seems like this is a major problem brewing. Brick and mortar businesses pay to bring the product in and display it so people can check it out, and then those same people order it online from a company that's not paying for the storefront. At some point the storefront goes out of business and we're all shopping blind and getting low-quality stuff that we would never buy if we could see it.
Maybe online reviews would gird against this, or maybe we'll get some sort of 3-D holographic technology to check stuff out. I don't have a loyalty to brick and mortar businesses if they don't add value, but the tough thing right now is that they add value and don't get paid for it.
