The best part though is that I turned my fiancé into a Royals fan. That may not sound like much but she is from Peru so before she met me 5 years ago she knew nothing about sports at all.
I have managed to convert her to a pretty knowledgable fan this season especially since she is done with school. She says "oh no" when Broxton comes out and uses terms like "closer" and "sac fly" and complains about Frenchy swinging at the first pitch all the time. All this on her own accord. Plus she loves going to the games just as much as me and constantly suggests we go.
I also turned her into a KU fan a few years ago (helps she went to KU Nursing) and a Chiefs fan last season.
Two years ago she couldn't understand why us Chiefs fans get so mad after a loss. This past season she was complaining about how bad Palko was in our game against the Patriots and pointing out how weak his arm is. We get to be miserable together haha.
