Div II is what it is but the talent level is not Div I that is for sure. Central still made it to 3 final 4, a bunch of conference and conference tourney titles, along wi a national championship. Mizzou will never do that  |
I'm not trying to polish a turd. Simply pointing out the absurdity of saying unequivocally a DII team would beat a good DI team.
I'm from the Sedalia/Warrensburg area, so I'm pretty familiar with CMSU's accomplishments. I think it's nice that it's a strong program, and I watched the CMSU semifinal and final. But at the end of the day, it's still AA baseball compared to the top 100 or so DI programs (MLB in this example).
