But I don't think it matters to Android in the long run. Companies should innovate, not copy. It's probably a good ruling, in the long run.

I'm not a huge Samsung fan but I think they are getting jobbed on this. They deserve to lose some but not like they did.
And you are right, won't change things for consumers. Hell iPhone is less then 17% of the world market now. That's unlikely to change. I think that is their natural equilibrium point.
