It hasn't been tested over thousands of years. It's simply been used, and people have attributed just about anything and everything to their usage. I'd love for it to be researched. I don't expect a cure for cancer, but I do expect many other positive uses. And that's not even considering the non-THC applications of the plant itself, with uses as a paper or textile base.
It's a great little plant. But I think we're a long way for saying it treats anything. The federal government doesn't want people to die in agony. Easy with your crazy conspiracies. The government simply enjoys the stream of income they get from prosecuting its usage.
