There was also another one that the part guys liked to tell me. Something about a guy driving a Spit pulling over to help a stranded lady. Her car had lost a bolt holding some part on and she asked if he had one. He went back to his Spit, shook it really hard and then found the right bolt out of all the ones that fell out.

For those of you who have never had the pleasure of owning a British car, but want to know what it's like: Next big rainstorm, wait till dark, roll down all windows, leave off lights & heater & wipers and go for a drive. Stop at every intersection and throw out a twenty dollar bill. It's not exactly the same, but it's real close.
