I wouldn't go that far, especially for a team that's never made a run like that in what could be a brutal conference to get through, but it definitely makes a statement and could cause a domino effect with other teams looking to put the final pieces together for a run.
Bold move, the Avs made those trades for years and they mostly paid off... of course until they ran out of prospects and draft picks and became irrelevant for a decade.... but, I'm sure that won't happen here.
