I became a Chiefs fan obviously because I'm a native Kansas Citian. My grandfather had season tickets when they first moved up from Dallas, always loved pro football. My dad had season tickets for about 30 years until everybody started getting too rowdy the past 5-10 years and standing all game and always trying to give him high fives all game. Plus he didnt like all the rock music they play during the games (black betty annoyed him for some reason). I remember as a kid first starting to get into Chiefs football when the cops would show up at our grade school and pass out the Police football cards.
Anybody else remember getting these as a kid? I can't remember but it seems like they didn't have stats on the back, it was always a life lesson like: "Make sure you listen to your parents" Or GARY SPANI (on back: "Always report strangers peeking through your parents bathroom window when your mommy is taking a shower")
