well, 14 is a terrible number, but yeah, those who are saying the SEC regrets expansion are being silly.

14 is something a conference can put up with for a while, not rushing into anything, waiting for the ideal candidates to expand to 16, but you don't want to be 14 long-term. 12 or 16 are both much better.
