But I still lean toward a complete redo, we've seen this scheme for 6 years now... go to 43, true no team is in it's base much these days, but the 43 values front line pass rushers over backers, and that's a better fit for today's game IMO

4-3 makes your backers even more important, just look at it like this.
In a 4-3 base set right now we would have ONE (he should have been pro bowl) D-lineman.
In your typical 3-4 base set we have THREE pro bowlers (again counting Chris)
If speaks develops then I’m ok with 4-3, but I honestly don’t see what the Chiefs saw in him.
