What do you guys recommend? shaft material, compact/standard vanes, determining length, weight, etc? Not trying to get anything cutting edge, just leisurely target practice and an occasional deer/turkey. Longest shot I would think about taking in the field is 40-50 yds. I was accurate at that range with the old aluminum ones, so someone sell me on carbon fiber if you think that is the way to go.

For accuracy I'd stick with aluminum shaft, durability I'd go with carbon fiber.
