Chase Daniel - QB - Chiefs
The Chiefs can save $1.4 million by releasing Chase Daniel.
Daniel is due a $2.35 million base salary next year
and isn't a lock to beat out Tyler Bray as Alex Smith's backup. He signed a three-year, $10 million contract last March and could be cut after just one season with the Chiefs facing cap issues in 2014.
