I don't have any problems with the replacement refs, as they're just terrible (slightly more or less, depending on one's point of view) If the players/coaches/fans are tired of the game dragging on longer, well, newsflash people.
Too many advertising/commericals is the reason why a 1.5 hour football game can drag out to a 3 hour football game.
Solution? Cut back advertisting/commericals = problem solved.
