Our OL does struggle on occassion but they have largely been able to adequately protect for the last several years QBs who have no pocket presence, no ability to go through progressions, and probably more importantly, no ability to read Ds and identify hots based on the coverage. What is truly baffling is, even college programs establish in training camp what your hots are against different coverages, how your progressions are developed, etc. Then once you begin your week of preparation, you begin to isolate what hots you're going to typically see, what coverages you're going to see based on down, distance, and personnel, and how to attack it. The "gameplan" is based upon film analyzed starting as soon as the season is over for teams that don't get new Coaches (HC, OC/DC) and then subsequently as soon as those positions are hired.
