Ok, I feel like this will be David Glasses first test to see if he will actually poney up the dough to harbor a good baseball team. Mark Teahen has been about as good as anybody in baseball since he came back from the minors and I feel that he's going to have a great full season next year. I'm getting all excited about him, he could possibly be the next ...
"Mr. Kansas City" himself, George Brett. He's showing power potential, hes showing definite speed and awareness on the basepaths and his defense is catching up finally. This is the next big Carlos Beltran, Johnny Damon type guy that we got, probably going to be demanding a shit ton of money, because he's got the skills for it. So this will be Glasses first test to see if he decides to poney up the dough. I hope to gawd he does, cause Im beginning to love watching Teahen play. Shit he went 4-4 today with a HR, 2 doubles a single and 2 stolen bases. We'd better keep his ass!!!!

he looked like the next miguel tejada at points in 2003.

The reason I think Teahen is legit is he's the sort of guy that draws walks and works the count. Berroa has always been a free swinger. When pitchers figured that out, they ate his lunch. But the "work the count" guys usually manage to get good pitches to hit on a consistant basis b/c they know the strike zone.
