Yet the Cards still draw 30-45k every game.
Think cards fans would be there 15 games out? they did a great job supporting their team last night, esp staying in the 9th inning, i thought this was the WS champs?

In the last season that the Cardinals had where they were under .500 they drew half a million more than the Royals ever have.

The last 2 times the Cardinals won LESS than 75 games, they drew 3.2M and 2.6M, respectively.

The Royals have never drawn more than 2.5M in their HISTORY.

Sounds like we could see a lot of offense.
I love high scoring games. One of the best games I ever attended was a 14-10 bloodletting between the Cubs and the Mets. The wind was blowing out at Wrigley. Gary Giaetti hit a grand slam, one of several homers hit that day. I can't even remember who won (like I'd give a shit between those two teams), but it was a fun day.

I don't know about NYC, but they sure seem to have an inferiority/wannabe complex when it comes to Chicago.

When I compare the Chi-town nightlife with STL, I can understand why.

Elarton starting? I'll be surprise if he lasts three innings.
