for a new vehicle purchase? I hate the 20mpg my 06 Frontier gets, but I'm not ready to make a switch yet. Full-on hybrid production is probably two years off, and even then will be pricey at first, so I'm sayin 4/5 years before I get serious. By that time we should really see some valid offerings. just an estimate tho---thoughts?

I purchased my latest vehicle, a 2004 Tacoma TRD off road package in 2004 with cash. I don't like payments either.

I'm not making car payments, so I'm not looking to spend a bunch of cash up front to save some fraction of it over the next few years. I'll just pay for the gas and bitch a lot.
